We love Nana

This is Richard's Nana. She is 89 years old and still lives on her own. She does the maintenance on her house & her own yard work. She still drives herself everywhere and she is very independant. Yesterday she had an early dinner at her home where she had invited 9 of her friends to come & join her. Her son who lives out of the country was here visiting and she wanted her friends to meet him. Her daughter Jerry Lee was also there (this is Richard's mother). It was said that she was like a school girl having her friends over for a party. Shortly after they left she had a stroke. She was taken by helicopter from her home in Pine to the Mayo Hospital in Scottsdale. She suffered another stroke this afternoon and is now in ICU. She has really taken a turn for the worse and is not expected to live much longer. We just want everyone to know how special she is and how loved she is. Richard and I were able to go to the hospital tonight along with many other family members. We said goodbye to her. We have put this in the Lord's hands and rest comfortably knowing that he has a plan for her. Her husband died many years ago. I am not sure exactly when but I want to say close to 35 years ago. Camdon said, "I'm sure Papa misses her" and he got that right. I know it will be a joyous reunion for them. Love you Nana. By the way, this picture was taken at the Family Reunion this summer where she came and camped in a tent on her own. Isn't that amazing!
