Trevon and his proud Mom

A while back when school was in session Trevon's teacher had each student write 5 poems. He then had them submit their best poem into a contest. Well, Trevon's poem was one of the them selected to be published in a book of childrens poetry. I just thought this was so exciting and wanted to share the poem he wrote. Great work Trevon and keep it up. Oh, and just a sidenote, being as I am the only girl in our household I dont know where he gets his knowledge :0

GIRLS
By Trevon Turley

They think they’re the dominant species, Girls.
They always make sure their hair is in curls
And wear lots of pretty pearls.
Girls think they are blessed
To be able to pick their own dress
But realize it’s only a stress.
They think they are made for shopping
Instead of sweeping and mopping.
Girls wear too much makeup
and end up with a breakup.
They buy new shoes for every cruise
And show them to you like its front page news.
Girls can’t just put on any clothes
It might not match their hose.
They wear the wrong necklace
Which makes them reckless.
Girls wear so many rings
You’d think they were a queen.
Going to the bathroom is a social occasion
To me that sounds like a personal invasion.
They love to sing and dance
You‘d think it was their last chance
To perform on ‘So you think you can dance‘.
Girls, They think they’re the dominant species.

HOLY COW!! Your kids are huge! ha ha. I just remember them running around and chasing eachother with swords and stuff. They were such fun boys. Crazy how fast time flys. They are VERY handsome boys and your little girl is SO cute too. I think you were pregnant with her when you guys moved...I never got to meet her.
Thanks for commenting on my blog!
