Visiting Family

I was recently blessed to spend some time with my sister LL at her new home in Texas. It was a treat for me to go & play with her cute kids whom I adore. Below is Princess Kamrielle all dressed up & looking so lovely.
Sweet Carder boy has turned into quite the musician. He sings (quite well) and plays the piano as you will see.
Playing & singing a song he made up that was just as cute as can be.
One of the most easy going, laid back babies I've ever known - C.R. Love him to pieces!
LL & I as we were heading out the door for an afternoon of antique shopping. I forgot my camera believe it or not so my phone had to do for taking pics. Got to attend a couple of Caden's basketball games. That was sure fun. He is a great ball player!

So glad I got to go, thanks for all the fun!

Valentine Decor

You know I love to decorate for holidays, right? This year after Christmas I got a really great deal on this tree. $9.00 to be exact. I decided it would be perfect for a Valentine tree.
This cute little ornament was made by Trevon when he was in preschool with Miss Marilyn. It's a treasure.

I love my apothecary jars. I reuse the same candy year after year. My kids know that it is old and they don't touch it. However, their friends come over and think it's the greatest thing. We warn them that it could break a tooth and couldn't possibly taste very fresh. They don't care! It boggles my mind but they eat it anyway. Yuck!
Happy Valentines Day Friends & Family. We love you!

Exciting News

Last year (as in Jan. 2010) after Christmas we decided to tear out all of our old tile. It was white & glossy & so hard to keep clean. Not to mention really slick when it's wet. Ya there is a funny story behind that but we wont get into it today. Anyhow, for many different reasons from time to money and the heat to being too busy we lived with the concrete look for a year.
For Christmas this year I asked if we could pretty please get the new tile in. We went with travertine and I really wanted this border around the edges. I was informed that this would be alot of extra work. However, I like things to be different and unique and so Richard being the nice guy that he is went the extra mile. Thank you, thank you it looks so good.
He is constantly reminding me that he is not a proffesional at this but I think it looks amazing and that he has done a fantabulous job!!! It isn't finished yet. It hasn't been grouted and we still need to get the trim up but I had to give you a sneak peak at the new flooring.
What do you think?

Suns Game Night

Jaron, Camdon & I recently attended a Suns Game and we had really GreAt SeaTs (Row 22)
It was a ton of fun & we loved being there amid all the action. We were smack dab in the middle of all the season ticket holders and let me just say they are hard core fans in that section. It was almost as fun to watch them as it was the game.

Trying to get a picture of this sweet little guy giving me a kiss on the cheek. Didn't quite capture it but I just love that little face. Sweetest little boy!

So glad we got to go & play with them. Yes, I see you Kamrielle doing rabbit ears on me. You got me silly girl!
