Jaron with his trek family.
It was a great experience and they both really enjoyed it. Thankful for our pioneers & our rich heritage & that we could experience a little taste of the many hardships they endured. Helps you to see the bigger picture and that yes, there will be mountains to climb and trails to blaze but we to can push through and overcome the obstacles placed in our path. Then & now.

I know this experience these young people are going thru in these trek adventures is more about a "sacred endurance" of our pioneers than they can even imagine right now but so glad they had a small glimpse of the faith and love of the gospel of our Savior and of their own ancestors.
Ok we are leaving for the trek tomorrow... I'm excited and a little nervous... you know sleeping on the ground and all of that... But I know it will be a great experience for all of us... if we don't freeze.... :) at night.
