I did take my camera but didn't get any pictures. We went to Pack Meeting tonight and it was great fun as always.

Happy Birthday Todd
Tomorrow is my brother Todd's birthday. He was born just after me and so I have lots of fun memories with Todd. He is a good person and I am proud to have him as a brother. He does an Awesome Scooby Doo Impersonation if you ever have the chance to hear it. He is quite the jokester. Often when he calls he will try to pretend like he is from another country. Sometimes he catches me off guard and it takes a minute or two before you figure out it's him. From a young age he wanted to be a Chiropractor like his uncle. Well, he put himself through school and he did it! He and his wife are both Chiropractors and have their own practice in Texas. We don't get to see them a whole lot since he is so far away but I have a big piece of my heart that always has him in mind. I hope he has a great day and that he knows how loved he is.
Here we are playing together. Isn't he just the cutest little guy.
I've got my two favorite things in the whole world,my doll and my brother!
This picture cracks me up. I remember that I had just gotten a new camera for my birthday, Christmas or something or other. He was like, "Marcy take a picture of me playing the guitar". OK, this is one of those toy popper things that you push around the house and it makes that loud popping sound. Yeah, don't you love that Awesome guitar! Check out his lips making that guitar playing look. Too funny Todd.
Todd as a pre-teen. Such a good looking kid!Ohhhh, he is so cute.
Couldn't you just pinch those cheeks.
Love ya Todd!
A Big Responsibility

Trevon was called today to serve as the new Deacon's Quorum President. He is excited about this and we know that he will do an excellent job. All of his life he has made friends so easily, he just has a fun personality and is so easy going. He will be a great leader. Yesterday Richard taught the knife sharpening/ax using class at the 11 yr. old Day Camp. Trevon went as Richard's assistant. I have heard from several people that they were both pretty funny out there. This doesn't surprise me as they keep us laughing all the time. Richard took those gummy Halloween body parts candy as a treat for all the kids. I thought it was so perfect for the class he was teaching. Kind of like - pay attention to the proper way to do this boys, or this is what happens to your body parts. Funny kid, funny Dad!

I Love Fall
Tonight I received a very yummy treat. A friend of mine brought over this beautiful box wrapped with a beautiful fall bow. She simply said, "Happy Fall". Isnt that just so fun! So, I open it up and inside was the biggest caramel apple I have ever seen. It has like 6 layers of stuff on it. Camdon & I cut ourselves a very generous slice and there is still like 3/4 of this thing left. It seriously could feed a family. Anyhow it was simply divine! Thank you Laurie, you are so sweet! Ahhh, I Love Fall.

What a fun day
Today was a special treat for me because I got to watch my niece, Tatum. She is such a sweet little girl. She has a very calm personality and she is just a joy to take care of. I especially like this picture of her because you can see her big, blue eyes. She really is a darling. There aren't many days that I stay home and so the other benefits of having her was that I really got alot done. I took down all of my Halloween decor and put up the fall. The fall colors are so beautiful and I enjoy the beauty it brings. I also made homemade chicken noodle soup (even homemade noodles). This was a favorite when I was a kid growing up. I make it mostly how my Mom did with just a few touches of my own. Well, my kids also love this and I don't make it all that often. They have been asking for it for about a month now. They were pleasantly surprised to come home to this dinner favorite. I guess putting out the fall decor put me in the mood for a nice fall meal. Thanks Tatum for keeping me home today, my kids thank you also. You are a sweetheart!

Halloween
What a fun night we had. We spent it at our ward Trunk-or Treat. Ray & Jerry (Richard's parents) are our wards activities chairmen and they did a great job. We ate good food, had a costume parade (where Richard & I won a prize) and did the whole trunk or treat thing.

Trevon wanted to dress up as something where no one would know who he was. I suggested that he go as a witch because no one would guess that. He looked pretty spooky.

Fieldtrip with Camdon
Don't ask me what I did to get these pictures in such a crazy order because I have no idea. Anyhow, I went on a fieldtrip with Camdon's class today. It was super fun and very educational. We went to an Arizona state park, 'Boyce Thompson Arboretum'. We learned all about trees, bushes, leaves and fun things that grow. Below is the group that I was over. They were good boys. Dallin, Elijah, Camdon, Jacob & Dallin.

Studying the leaves and trying to group similar kinds. They also got to do some artwork with leaves. It was pretty cool. Camdon has decided that this is what he wants to do now when he grows up. Our guide was great, very friendly.
We got to see some really neat things. Look at this tree with the roots growing above ground.
We thought that the bark on this tree was so interesting.

Pumpkin Carving
We were the only 3 interested in carving a pumpkin this year. Richard & Jaron were party poopers. We had fun with it.
Notice our Halloween gingerbread house.
We think that it's pretty cool!
