Sunday afternoon

We went to Richard's parents home for an enjoyable afternoon on Sunday.
We had hawaiian haystacks & celebrated Jaron & Tiffani's birthdays.

Things tend to get a little crazy when you get our bunch together. Check out the funny faces.

Camdon is definately a goof ball!
Kellie experimenting with Trevon & Camdon. I guess they call this 'acro yoga'
Pretty cool, eh?

Check out this pool

This amazing pool is found in Chile..... I want to go there someday. Doesn't it look amazing!!!
You can take small sailboats out on this saltwater pool that Guinness World Records calls the largest in the world. At two thirds of a mile in length, the massive stretch of water has room for several man-made sand beaches. For nighttime swimming, head to the temperature-controlled beach inside the pool's centrally located glass pyramid—the water and the sand are heated.

Celebrating the 4th in ShowLow

We headed up to ShowLow last Thursday and it was such a great time. Stayed at my sister's house and loved every minute of it. As soon as we got there, Camdon found this frog and thought it was the coolest thing ever.
Until Trevon told him he could get warts, then he immediately put it down and wanted nothing to do with it.
We got to go and watch Kamrielle cheer at half time of the alumni football game. She had attended a cheer camp that week and this was their big performance.

Here she is doing her 'turkey leg jump'

It was really cute and so fun to watch. She is taking after her Aunt Marcy.
Saturday was the big parade. I always love to go and this year was no exception. Here we are waiting for it to start.
The big boys!
Jaron, Caden & Trevon

LoraLeigh's family minus Caden.
Carder loves horses and makes the cutest horse sound. He was pretty excited at all of the horses in the parade. He is pointing for his Dad to take him closer.
Our family at the parade, LL had a hard time getting a good one because someone is always making a face.
See what I mean?
Vinnie set up a wrestling ring and they had a few wrestling matches.

He had to get in on it and show them that he still had some moves.
This picture cracks me up with Jaron over his shoulder.
Then they were on to a game of 'wall ball'
Not sure what exactly that is but I do know they had fun.

Vinnie, I'm worried about you......
Need I say more?
Then we were off to watch the fireworks.
A great show as always. Here are the boys in the back of Vinnie's truck.
Our gang
Carder fell asleep mid-show. Poor guy, it was late.
Isn't he just adorable though? Love that little boy.
On Sunday we went to a BBQ at my Aunt Patsy's house. This is my Dads sister. We got to visit with lots of family that we hadn't seen for awhile. It was alot of fun but just not long enough.
It started to rain pretty hard while the kids were outside and they had to make a quick run for cover. It was so beautiful out there in Vernon.
My mom Chrissy, me, Aunt Patsy, my sister LoraLeigh & cousin Janna
It was another memorable holiday, thanks everyone! Thanks to the Wyatt's especially for letting us stay with them. We always feel right at home!

Our fun day!

We went swimming yesterday and the boys had fun going down the waterslide. Here is Trevon below.
Caden below about to make his splash.
Here comes Jaron

and Camdon.

Jaron got a new phone for his birthday. He likes it alot as he now has a camera and a Qwertky which is easier for texting.
He got right to work on transferring his contacts.

Later in the day we stopped by Mom & Dads for dessert and to also celebrate my Granma's birth. Jaron shares his birthday with her.
Here is the birthday girl, Grandma Ries

Fort building

Camdon and his friend Ammon wanted to build a fort the other day in our living room. I wasn't sold on this idea because it doesn't usually get cleaned up. They promised they would (uh-huh, I've heard that one before) Well, it took 5 blankets/sheets, 8 chairs and about 20 books to build this monstrosity. They had so much fun playing in it and guess what? They cleaned everything up when they were done. I didn't even have to say anything. I'm talking, blankets folded, books back on the shelves and chairs put away. They can build a fort at our house anytime. Way to use your imagination boys!

Two Peas in a Pod

Caden has been here with us this week and they have had a great time hanging out. All of them get along really well. However, Trevon and Caden are only 6 months apart and couldn't be more alike. Their personalities and likes are so similar. They just get each other.
It cracks me up that we have about 10 places to sit in this room and as you can see they are sharing a chair. Go figure?
They have kept me laughing all week long. Their sense of humor is odd to say the least and when together well let's just say we do a lot of laughing. Thanks for providing us with such great entertainment you two.

The Birthday Boy

It really does seem like only yesterday that we were having our first child and now he is turning 15. Jaron has brought so much joy into our lives. He has a smile that can light up a room. He has been so much fun and loves to laugh. We are so pleased with the decisions he makes. He is a good example to all those around him and we sure do love him. Some of the great things about Jaron are : He loves to talk and share things. This is very unusual for a boy or teenager. He is so good with kids, little kids just gravitate to him. He is going to make a great dad someday! When it comes to sports, this kid really knows his stuff. His knowledge of players and stats amaze us! Jaron, we are grateful that you came into our home and we love you so, so much! We are looking forward to spending a fun-filled day with you today.
